Our itinerary is as follows:

Day 1: Wushan Museum — Little Three Gorges — Ningjiangdu Park

Morning: Wushan Museum
⏰ (09:00-17:00, last admission at 16:30)
🆓 No ticket required for the attraction; guided tours need to be booked in advance.
The museum houses over 40,000 cultural relics, prominently featuring the Longgupo culture, Daxi culture, Wushan culture, and other regional cultural characteristics. Kids can enjoy the reading pavilion, computer divination games, and more.

Afternoon: Little Three Gorges + Mini Three Gorges
⏰: Two departures daily at 9:00 and 14:00
First, take a large boat to tour Longmen Gorge, Bawu Gorge, and Dicui Gorge. The interplay of the gorge and waters is picturesque. Follow the guide’s rhythm to appreciate nature’s craftsmanship. There are monkeys 🐒 at Bawu Gorge; my kid was the first to spot them and was so happy 🥳. Then switch to a Wupeng boat to tour the Mini Three Gorges, getting a close look at hanging coffins and stalactites.

Evening: Ningjiangdu Park
The views here are stunning, no exaggeration—at least 300 degrees of beautiful scenery in sight. The sunset 🌄 is breathtaking. Walking along the riverside path, taking kids out, and taking photos is truly beautiful and healing ❤️‍🩹.

Day 2: Goddess Scenic Area — Three Gorges Dragon Ridge Trail

Morning: Goddess Scenic Area
⏰: 8:00-17:00
Take the sightseeing bus along the mountain road, with stops at each scenic spot for free exploration. The scenery along the way is like a painting. Sitting on the bus with the mountain breeze and mist swirling feels like entering a fairyland! Every snapshot here looks like an ink painting, and you can even see the Goddess Peak from afar!

Afternoon: Three Gorges Dragon Ridge Trail
Since we were with kids, we chose the gentle hiking route. The scenery along the way is beautiful, offering panoramic views of Wushan’s mountains and rivers, as well as uniquely shaped rocks that stimulate kids’ imagination. When tired, rest at the viewing platform, enjoy the mountain breeze, and watch the sunset 🌄—it’s so relaxing!

🚗 About transportation:
You can take the high-speed train 🚄 from Chongqing directly to Wushan, about 2.5 hours. Getting around Wushan County by bus or taxi is very convenient.
You can also drive from Chongqing’s main city to Wushan, suitable for those with more time who want to explore along the way.

Wushan really has so many delicious foods! Wushan grilled fish, Wushan buns, Wushan crispy plums, jade jelly, baked potatoes... you’ll be eating every day!
