I have bought a 3-day ticket including a sightseeing bus, so I took the bus to the south entrance of the scenic area, and then took the sightseeing bus to Yixiantian.
There are two routes to the One Line Sky, left and right. The guide said that it is more challenging to enter from the left route. There were many tourists on Saturday, and a tour guide said that the best things were on the right route, so we took the left route to avoid the crowd. However, the passage from the left route to the right route was locked at the top, so we had to go back the same way and re-enter the right route. Unexpectedly, a larger tour group came. We waited in line for a long time before we could pass through the narrow gap of only a few meters (the narrowest part is only 30 centimeters). The cave is almost enclosed and the air circulation is poor. We had to endure the odor. We really had to turn sideways to pass through the narrowest part. We also saw rare white bats.
Walk from Yitiantian to Huxiaoyan. There are stone slabs and stone steps along the way. Although it goes up and down, it is still relatively flat. Walking in the shade of the trees, there are occasional streams flowing by, and tea gardens can be seen from time to time in the valley. First reach the Banbi Tiancheng Zen Temple at Huxiaoyan, and then follow the mountainside passage through Haohanpo (510 meters above sea level, 340 stone steps) to reach the Huxiaoyan Observation Deck, where you can enjoy lunch alone with the beautiful scenery, finally getting rid of the huge and noisy outdoor tour groups.
Walk about 2k to the Yunv Peak Viewing Point (you cannot climb). There are also stone slabs and stone steps along the way. Tea plantations can be seen from time to time in the valley. The Yunv Peak Viewing Point you finally arrive at is right next to Jiuqu Creek. The Yunv Peak and Dawang Peak are located on the left and right sides of the opposite bank. There are many parents bringing their children to fish and play in the water by the creek, and you can also see busy bamboo rafts passing by from time to time.
We took a sightseeing bus to Wuyi Palace Station and headed towards Dawang Peak, the last stop of the day. Although the altitude is only 530 meters, the 1.5k route has more than 2,000 stone steps, most of which are narrow and steep. It is a very challenging route. The policeman we met on the way down the mountain described it as a combination of Tianyou Peak and Huxiao Rock.
