Visit Golfito beaches

Golfito beach is gorgeous, like many beaches in Costa Rica, inside Golfo Dulce (Sweet Gulf). Golfito town is located very near Golfito National Wildlife Refuge you can go hiking for the day, and next by the Marina ⛵️. Howe

I won’t suggest you to try scuba diving 🤿 in this area, there are lots of fishermen and boats around that you can’t fully enjoy the experience. Unless you are told you can do it near wildlife reserve.

Sailing ⛵️ in this area is great, you can ask the local fishermen to move you to another beach 🏝 where you will be alone to enjoy nature and your day. Traveling from Golfito and Puntarenitas (small island in front of Golfito) was one of my favorite places during a summer I spend every weekend in the area.

🔴 This area is always better to visit in summer, during rainy season there can be floods, or problems among the roads.
