I've found the ultimate "lying flat" experience in Wuyishan!!!
The Chan temples here are simply magical, as if enchanted by the clouds and mist ✨
Hidden among the Danxia peaks and forests, beside streams and bamboo groves,
there's an ancient temple every few steps and the sound of Buddhist chants every few more.
As an overworked office worker, I instantly felt like I was ascending to immortality ‼️
🍃 The mountain breeze carries the fragrance of tea into your arms.
🍵 An old monk by the stone steps smiles at you while brewing Da Hong Pao tea.
🕊️ The copper bells on the eaves jingle, and white herons skim past the prayer flags.
Suddenly, my whole being just… slowed down!
(Does anyone understand? My phone automatically went into Do Not Disturb mode, haha.)
💡Golden Dazing Package:
✔️ Sutra transcription at Tianxin Yongle Chan Temple (the ink fragrance is more refreshing than coffee!)
✔️ Order "Whatever Fate Brings Tea" at the Baiyun Temple Tea House (the master really gives tea based on his mood!)
✔️ Count the fallen leaves on the steps of Huiyuan Chan Temple (I realized the true meaning of working when I counted the 88th leaf 😇)
⚠️ Key point: Rush to the back mountain of Yongle Chan Temple before sunset!!
The moment the orange cloud sea sweeps over the flying eaves and brackets,
it's as if you can see the immortals slacking off while working overtime (just kidding).
Transportation Tips:
Take the high-speed train to Nanpingshi Station → Take a taxi for 30 mins to reach the Chan temple area directly.
Golden Dazing Time: 6–8am/4–6pm
(Don't ask, it's just the most healing moment of incense 🔥)
