
Huangshan Emerald Valley, located in Shangzhang Village, Sancha, Tangkou Town, is known as the most beautiful water, a sacred place for love, and the fifth most beautiful place in Huangshan. The canyon, approximately 6 kilometers long, is dotted with over a hundred emerald pools of varying shapes and sizes, some square and some round. The waters, ranging from crystal clear to emerald green, create a vibrant and colorful scene, resembling fallen emeralds scattered throughout the valley, hence the name Emerald Valley.
The water in the valley originates from the Liandan Peak and the Shixin Peak. The scenic area accessible to visitors stretches for 6,000 meters. Hundreds of pools of various sizes are scattered throughout the canyon, with over 40 exceeding 100 square meters in area, and the largest nearly 1,000 square meters. Famous pools include the Dragon and Phoenix Pool, the Flower Mirror Pool, the Green Pearl Pool, the Jade Ring Pool, the White Deer Pool, the Thunder Rain Pool, the Heavenly Pool, and the Swan Pool.
The film "Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon" was filmed here, and the Flower Mirror Pond is where Li Mubai and the Jade Dragon fought. From afar, the lush greenery and swaying bamboo branches create a refreshing and refreshing feeling. The valley also boasts waterfalls and bamboo forests, where water cascades down from the heights, splashing pearls and jade, creating a unique charm. The green bamboo and the swaying water complement each other, creating a vibrant and harmonious symphony.
The weather is suitable for all seasons. On sunny days, the sunlight reflects off the pools and waterfalls, making them look like emerald green.
