A wall of ancient seals, a thousand-year story

Formerly known as Qingxiu Temple, it is also called Huajue Temple because it is located in Huajue Lane, Xi'an City, Shaanxi Province. It is the largest and best-preserved mosque in Xi'an🕌.
The temple was first built in the Tang Dynasty, in 742 AD, and has a history of more than 1,300 years. The architectural pattern has been preserved intact from ancient times to the present day, and is the four-courtyard layout we see today.
Huajue Temple is not only a religious building, but also a cultural treasure house. The temple houses handwritten copies of the Koran, religious paintings, Arabic calligraphy halls and banners, diagrams of Mecca, etc., all of which are precious cultural relics of Chinese Islam. It witnessed the historical process of the spread of Islam to China through the Silk Road and demonstrated the harmonious coexistence of Islamic culture and Chinese culture.
