Exploring Xi’an: Terracotta Warriors & Ancient Wonders

Visiting Xi’an was like stepping back in time. We did a tour to see the famous Terracotta Warriors, but honestly, you can easily do it on your own using Didi from the city. Here’s how our trip went:

Terracotta Warriors – A Historic Marvel

Seeing the Terracotta Army in person was surreal. Thousands of life-sized soldiers, each with unique details, standing in formation to protect China’s first emperor. The scale of the site was mind-blowing! Pit 1 was the most impressive, with rows of warriors fully excavated.

Other Must-See Spots in Xi’an:

✔️ Xi’an City Wall – One of the best-preserved city walls in China. You can even rent a bike and ride along it for amazing views.
✔️ Muslim Quarter – A lively area full of delicious street food like roujiamo (Chinese burger) and biangbiang noodles.
✔️ Giant Wild Goose Pagoda – A peaceful spot with beautiful architecture and a fountain show at night.

Tips for Visiting Xi’an on Your Own:

✔️ Use Didi – Much cheaper and more convenient than a tour.
✔️ Go early to the Terracotta Warriors – It gets crowded fast.
✔️ Wear comfortable shoes – There’s a lot of walking, especially at the city wall.
✔️ Try the street food – The Muslim Quarter is a foodie paradise!

Xi’an is a city full of history, great food, and stunning sights. Would you add it to your China itinerary? #xiantrip #terracottawarriors #chinatravel
