Norden Camp in Xiahe town, Southern Gansu

Norden Camp in Xiahe, Gansu Province, is one of the most unique and unforgettable hotels we have ever stayed in. The camp is situated just a short distance away from the Labrang Monastery, one of the most important Tibetan Buddhist monasteries in the world, which makes it an ideal place to stay for travelers interested in Tibetan culture and religion.

The camping experience itself was truly amazing. The tents are spacious, comfortable and beautifully decorated in traditional Tibetan style, with warm blankets to keep you cozy during the night. The meals served were delicious and authentic Tibetan cuisine, which added to the overall experience of staying in the camp.

The highlight of our stay was the evening chanting at the Labrang Monastery. We were able to witness the monks performing their evening rituals, which was truly a humbling and spiritual experience.

In addition to the cultural attractions, the surrounding landscape is absolutely stunning, with snow-capped mountains in the distance and the grasslands stretching out before you.

Overall, we highly recommend Norden Camp for anyone looking to immerse themselves in Tibetan culture and enjoy a unique and unforgettable camping experience.
