If you travel just to take beautiful photos, then I would definitely recommend you to go to Xiamen Botanical Garden. You can overlook the scenery of Xiamen from a high place. There are some strange-shaped plants on the road, as well as super-photogenic cacti and flowers. The park is so large that you can’t visit it all in one day, so just pick a few that interest you.

It is recommended that you buy a ticket at the starting point of the scenic bus after entering the park, and remember to keep it well. You can take the bus up or down the mountain when you are tired. Because not every station can buy tickets. I saw many people who got tired after walking around for a while, but they didn’t have tickets and therefore couldn’t get on the bus.

Park facilities:
The signage is clear and there are maps too.
The toilets must be praised, they are sufficient in number, clean and odorless.
There are vending machines for drinking water and a few places to buy food. (If you are hungry, I recommend buying luncheon meat and egg rice balls, which are tastier than beef ones)

Travel Tips:
It is recommended to wear long pants to avoid mosquito bites, and it is not easy to be hurt by plants when taking pictures of cacti 🌵 and flowers 🌷.
The weather is hot, so it’s best to bring a bottle of water and wear sunscreen.

The Bell and Drum Cableway is right next to it. If you want to take a cable car to watch the sunset, please pay attention to the time. Because I left at about 5:30 pm, I accidentally saw a lot of people queuing up. After questioning, we learned that the waiting time in line to buy tickets is more than 30 minutes. Considering that the sunset on the day of my trip was not particularly beautiful and I was worried that the sun would set by the time it was my turn, we did not go.
