Gulangyu Island is a must-visit attraction when traveling to Xiamen. It takes about half an hour to get there by boat. The whole island is much bigger than expected, and you can spend a whole day there!

After getting off the boat, start walking from the alleys, slowly walk and take pictures to Wang Erjia’s old house, and finally climb to a high place to overlook the entire island. At noon, you can choose a few popular restaurants to feast on a delicious meal. Gulangyu Island, which is surrounded by the sea, has very fresh seafood!

I really like the viewing platform at the highest point ❤️. Although there were too many people and it was blocked at one point, you can overlook the entire island from all angles at 360 degrees. It is very refreshing and recommended 👍
