Gulangyu Island Guide! 😎 A must-go in Xiamen!

Gulangyu Island is a 5A-level attraction and is a must-visit attraction when visiting Xiamen.
It is best to buy boat tickets in advance, otherwise you have to buy them in person at the pier that day.
The price of the boat ticket includes a round trip.
The boat ride from Dongdu Passenger Terminal to San Qiu Tin Pier in Gu Lang Yu is about 25 minutes. The boat speed is relatively slow because it provides broadcast tour explanations while enjoying the sea view.
It is recommended to find a seat near the boat where you can enjoy the sea view. If you want a seat, go early and wait in line to board the boat.

There are several visiting spots on Gulangyu Island, such as: Shuzhuang Garden, Sunlight Rock, Haoyue Garden, International Engraving Museum

We chose to visit Xiamen Underwater World and Shuzhuang Garden.
In addition to visiting attractions, the island also has souvenir shops, restaurants, ancient buildings, and hotels to stay. If necessary, you can stay for a few more days before returning.
There is no public transportation on the island, so expect to have good foot strength! Wear comfortable shoes and remember to replenish water!
More especially on the island ate the Gulangyu limited edition flavor of ice cream, is Xiamen Shacha Soup and Wuyishan Dahongpao flavor, good 😋
The island is surrounded by the sea, the scenery is beautiful, you can see the sunset.
So when you go to Xiamen, you must visit Gulangyu Island!
