My four days in Xiamen were a leisurely and colorful experience. On the first day, I visited Gulangyu Island, enjoying the exotic atmosphere as I strolled through colonial architecture and charming cafe alleys. On the second day, I toured Xiamen University and Nanputuo Temple, experiencing the harmony between tradition and scholarship. On the third day, I strolled around Hualong Cave and the Pier, experiencing the ocean views and the daily lives of the locals up close. On the final day, I wrapped up my trip by shopping and enjoying local food on Zhongshan Road. Xiamen, a city where the sea, history, and modernity coexist, was a short but deeply memorable experience.
