What to eat in Xiamen when the weather cools down? This Japanese BBQ restaurant in Zhonghua City is a sizzling place with charcoal fire and delicious meat.

With the cooler weather, it's perfect time to grill around the fire. Today, we're at Sihe BBQ, a Japanese-style restaurant in Zhonghua City.

The restaurant is spacious, with ample spacing between tables, perfect for chatting with friends over a grill. The only slight downside is that there's a bit of clutter in some corners.

The service, however, is truly attentive, and the ingredients are fresh. The meats arrived looking incredibly textured, sizzling on the grill and incredibly tender! The five-spice rolls were a pleasant surprise, their skin crispy and freshly fried. The beef dumplings seem to be another popular item, but we thought they were just average and worth skipping.

You have to grill the food yourself, and the charcoal fire is incredibly intense, requiring a focused eye. With our large eyes and small stomachs, we barely finished the entire table. We recommend eating within your means. Although the food was a little slow to arrive, the generous portions and quality of the meat are definitely worth a return visit.
