Wuhan: This unpopular ancient village is as beautiful as the misty Jiangnan

There is such a beautiful century-old village hidden around Wuhan, with blue brick and tile houses, small bridges and flowing water. It becomes a picturesque Jiangnan village when it rains.

It is a bit like the Yaoli Ancient Town in Jingdezhen, where the descendants of the Liu royal family live. It is full of cultural heritage and a heavy sense of history. Xianning Liujiaqiao
The ancient town is not big but very photogenic. It is a good place to rest, eat farm food and take photos.

It is recommended to visit surrounding attractions
7 minutes drive from Jingui Lake (camping is not allowed due to the recent flooding, but there is a Nanchuan Reservoir nearby with nice scenery)
20 minutes drive from Yinshui Cave 1 hour drive from Baiyun Mountain/Jiugong Mountain/Taiyangxi Rafting

Liujiaqiao Ancient Town is located in Guihua Town, Xianning, the hometown of Chinese sweet osmanthus. After Liu Bochang, the 60th generation descendant of Liu Jiao, the half-brother of Emperor Liu Bang of the Han Dynasty, moved here, he built a group of ancient dwellings, which have been inhabited by the clan for 4 centuries. It is known as the "No. 1 Folk Village in Chutian".

Liujiaqiao Ancient Town is surrounded by mountains, with water flowing through the mountains. The small village seems isolated from the world. It still retains the Ming and Qing style buildings. On rainy days, it has the charm of a small Jiangnan.

The ancient town is not big and can be walked around in half an hour. There are several farmhouses. It is a little far from the city, suitable for street walking. It is quite interesting to walk around on the way. There is no need to go there for tourism.
