Xianhe Lake 🛶

We arrived at Xianhe Lake together, just as the morning light brushed the water with gold 🌅🏞️ We walked along the shore, watching the lake stretch wide and still, like a giant mirror reflecting the sky. We pointed at the distant cranes standing gracefully by the water’s edge 🕊️🌊 and we stayed quiet for a moment, just listening to the soft calls of birds carried by the breeze. We smiled at each other, knowing we were both feeling the peace of this place.

We sat together on a wooden dock, our feet almost touching the water 🌿🚣♂️ We watched the ripples spread gently, as if the lake was breathing with us. We talked, we laughed, and sometimes we just sat in silence, feeling the calm settle between us. We promised to come back, because we knew that Xianhe Lake with its cranes, its quiet, and its wide-open sky had already given us a memory we’d want to revisit 🌤️
