Puyi, the last emperor of China, was once imprisoned at the Fushun War Criminals Management Center. It's truly a place with a lot of history. I was so lucky! I visited during an open day; it had previously been closed off and visitors were not allowed inside.
The Fushun War Criminals Management Center is located at 43 Ningyuan Street, Shuncheng District, Fushun City. It's a truly historic place. 👍 Originally used to detain Japanese war criminals and certain special historical figures, Puyi, the last emperor of the Qing Dynasty, spent his final years behind bars here.
The entire center is surprisingly well-preserved, giving you a glimpse into that turbulent history. Entering the exhibition hall, you can see traces of Puyi's life, as well as numerous precious historical photos and documents.
If you're as fascinated by modern history as I am, this place is definitely worth a visit! Any history enthusiast visiting Fushun shouldn't miss this hidden gem. Check the official opening hours on trip.com in advance for peace of mind.
