Hike the Himalayas 🏔 4 Hours from Chengdu

🚍Getting There - To get to ##foursistersmountain There are busses that run daily from Chadianzi in Chendgu, but if you organise a tour company to take you up to summit a peak (you can’t do it without a guide) they’ll likely send a private car or bus to pick you up.

🏔 Attractions - In the national park around #四姑娘山 you can hike the several valleys (this tends to be easy and be okay for people of moderate fitness) or try to summit one of the 3 out of 4 mountains visitors are able to climb. We climbed 大峰 in winter… it was VERY cold, and maybe not to be recommended.

🏨 Hotels - the main town is full of guesthouses. If you’re organising a guide to climb the mountain it’s likely he’ll suggest a hotel.

🥟 Food & Restaurants - Quite frankly the food here is not the best… you’ll be able to try some Tibetan food, but most places serve up perfectly-fine Sichuan food.

If you are visiting ##chengdu don’t miss out on a Himalayan adventure… but do keep in mind it’s a fairly long drive to Four Sisters and you need at least a day or two to acclimatise to the high altitude, and you will need proper gear (boots, jackets, hiking poles) to summit the mountains in Winter - although most guiding companies can rent you the necessities.
