I seem to have an inextricable connection with nature. Traveling always gives me the opportunity to immerse myself in its beauty. This time, I visited Xiapu-Gaoluo Beach in northeastern Fujian. Not only did I witness the breathtaking sunrise and sunset, but I also discovered a captivating accommodation: Yunshuilu Resort Villa.
Accommodation: Yunshuilu Resort Villa.
Address: Tingxiaxi Village, Changchun Town, Xiapu, Ningde City, Fujian Province. By car: Directly navigate to Xiapu Gaoluo Beach Resort. By high-speed rail: Take the high-speed rail to Xiapu Station and then take a taxi to Gaoluo Beach, which takes about 40 minutes.
Gaoluo Beach is recommended by locals as the best spot for sunrise viewing. The morning sun shines on the soft sand, creating a dreamlike, shimmering scene. The beach is also a great spot for catching seafood and taking photos of the coastal road and the White Castle.
Best time to view: Sunset. Nestled between mountains and the sea, this spot offers expansive views. The hotel boasts a photography tower, a café, a leisure pavilion, and a viewing platform, making it a perfect spot for watching the sunset.
This time, I chose the Yunshuilu Resort Villa, situated right by the ocean. Falling asleep to the sound of the waves at night was blissful. If you can wake up early, the guest rooms with full sea views offer a romantic sunrise over the ocean just by opening the curtains. The large public terrace also offers a stunning view.
What made my stay here most welcoming and relaxing were the two cats and a dog that live with me. They are very friendly and clingy, following me around the property, enjoying the sunshine and the salty sea breeze. They also quietly accompany me as I stroll along the beach, making the entire property feel like home and making my trip even more memorable.
Nearby Attractions: Xiawei Island, Dajing Beach, Sishan Islands, East China Sea Route 1, Yangjia Creek, Dongbi Village...
