Fuji cherry blossoms🌸 at Kofukuji Temple in Lishan

Lushan Guangfu Temple is located in Xichang City, Sichuan Province. It was built in the Ming Dynasty and has a history of more than 600 years. The temple preserves a large number of cultural relics and historical sites from the Ming and Qing dynasties.

Every March and April, the temple's cherry blossoms are in full bloom, like a painting by Hayao Miyazaki. It is said that these cherry trees were planted by Japanese monks in Guangfu Temple during the Ming Dynasty and have a history of more than 400 years. These cherry trees were introduced from Japan and are of the "Fuji Sakura" variety.
