The call of the great grassland! Xilingol 3-day self-driving tour guide 🌾

This summer finally fulfilled the dream of a grassland trip! The Xilingol grassland is so healing~ In two days, we checked in at Xilinhot Grassland and West Ujimqin Grassland, and the scenery all along felt like a Windows desktop wallpaper!

⭐ Highlights of the itinerary:

🚗 DAY 1: Xilinhot Grassland
Address: Xilinhot City, Xilingol League, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region
Opening hours: All day
It’s recommended to set off at 9 AM; the scenery along the way is already eye-catching! The Xilingol grassland is really vast, so it’s suggested to navigate to "Xilingol Grassland Scenic Area," where the facilities are more complete. You can ride horses and shoot arrows. Be sure to experience staying in a Mongolian yurt; watching the starry sky at night is absolutely amazing!

🚗 DAY 2: West Ujimqin Grassland
Address: Zhuoran Capital, Nadamu Street, West Ujimqin Banner
It’s a 2-hour drive from Xilinhot, and this grassland is even more pristine! It’s recommended to wear bright-colored clothes for photos; every shot looks like a masterpiece~

⚠️ TIPS:
1. Large temperature difference on the grassland, remember to bring a jacket
2. Be sure to apply enough sunscreen!
3. July to August is the best season to visit
4. It’s recommended to rent an SUV for self-driving, as some road sections are difficult for sedans

📍 Accommodation tips:
Both grasslands have Mongolian yurts available for stay; it’s recommended to book in advance. It’s best to bring your own toiletries, as the conditions are relatively simple but the experience is very special!
