Dongcheng Northern Noodle House is a popular little northern noodle restaurant. The place is packed upon entering, and the fragrant aroma of noodles fills your nostrils, whetting your appetite. When we arrived, we even waited in line for about 30 minutes after getting a number, a testament to its popularity. 👍

We ordered original dry noodles, noodle soup, xiaolongbao (steamed dumplings), radish cake, scallion pancakes, and red bean pancakes, and everything was amazing! The dry noodles were chewy and rich in soy sauce flavor. The noodle soup had a sweet and refreshing broth that was incredibly smooth. The xiaolongbao had a thin, juicy skin, bursting with broth, rivaling even the best restaurants. The radish cake was pan-fried to a crispy exterior and tender interior, with a rich, fragrant radish. The scallion pancakes were crispy and bursting with scallion aroma, the kind of delicious treat you can't stop eating. The red bean pancakes were sweet but not greasy, making for a perfect finishing touch. 😍

Both the main dishes and side dishes here showcase the chef's dedication and skill, so it's no wonder the place is always packed during mealtimes. Recommended for those who enjoy simple, delicious, and value-for-money noodles. Remember to arrive early; you can't order more or refill orders after the time is up!
