The Xinzheng Museum, one of the leading county-level museums in Henan, boasts a rich collection and is a National Second-Level Museum and a National 2A Scenic Spot.
Opened in 1995, the museum features indoor exhibits and outdoor stone carvings. With over 60,000 artifacts, including a replica of the Spring and Autumn Period Lotus and Crane Square Pot (a national treasure housed in the National Museum and Henan Provincial Museum, originally unearthed in Xinzheng), and an enlarged version at the entrance.
The museum's bronze collection is also noteworthy. The stone carving section behind the museum includes the epitaphs of Ouyang Xiu's family, Han Dynasty pictorial stones, and a stone pagoda.
Free admission, closed on Mondays. The museum offers a pleasant experience, with a well-maintained garden in the back. Recommended when visiting Xinzheng.
