When the 40℃ heat in Chongqing was melting me away, I discovered this treasure summer guesthouse in Xishui!🌬​
As soon as I got off the car, I was surrounded by a sea of bamboo and the sound of pine waves, the air filled with the fresh scent of plants, and the thermometer steadily stayed at 22℃. Even the breeze carried a coolness～🍃 The guesthouse is hidden deep in Qingshan, with white walls and gray tiles nestled in greenery. Opening the floor-to-ceiling window reveals layered mountain views, and waking up to birdsong in the morning is so healing!​
The room has a small balcony; in the afternoon, brew a cup of tea and curl up in the rattan chair watching clouds drift by. In the evening, follow the owner to the back mountain to pick wild mushrooms, and at night gather in the courtyard to roast by the fire, chat, and stargaze🌟 There’s absolutely no city noise, and even WiFi feels optional～​
Meals are all local farmhouse dishes! Freshly picked vegetables, free-range mountain chicken, and the owner’s secret sour soup fish, tangy and appetizing while cutting the grease—every bite tastes like the wild mountains🥘​
The best part! It’s super close to the Xishui Danxia Valley Scenic Area. Hike and breathe fresh air during the day, then soak in a hot bath back at the guesthouse at night. This is what summer should be like～ Heat-sensitive friends, add this place to your summer escape list!​
