Xuzhou Baolian Temple | A place of peace and quiet.

✨Baolian Temple, a hidden ancient temple at the foot of Jiuli Mountain in Xuzhou, Jiangsu, is like a pearl in the world, exuding tranquility and Zen.
🌅When you step into Baolian Temple, you will be overwhelmed by the solemnity. The magnificent buildings with flying eaves and painted beams show the beauty of ancient craftsmanship. The temple is filled with incense and Buddhist music, making you feel calm and peaceful.
🙏Here, you can get 3 sticks of incense for free, walk slowly up the steps, and feel the atmosphere of smoke and mist. Every temple enshrines a pious heart, which is also your own heart.
🌈Baolian Temple is not only a sacred place of history and faith, but also a beautiful scenery. The temple is surrounded by green trees and flowers, and the four seasons are picturesque. In spring, peach blossoms and apricot blossoms bloom; in summer, the trees are green and cool; in autumn, the maple leaves are as red as fire; in winter, the snow is white and the scenery is like a fairyland.
🎈Here, you can temporarily forget the hustle and bustle of the world and enjoy the peace of mind. Dance with the Buddha and feel the true meaning of life.
The first gate of Baolian Temple is inscribed with "Pantao Holy Land", and standing under the gate, you will feel like you are in a fairyland.
Baolian Temple was built in the Southern and Northern Dynasties (Northern Wei Dynasty), and is the first temple in China with Indian style. Over the past thousand years, it has experienced ups and downs, and has been called Longhua Temple, Hongfeng Temple, and Honglian Temple. In the Qianlong period of the Qing Dynasty, it was named Baolian Temple, and was abandoned before the liberation. It was rebuilt in 2009. Baolian Temple has "eight halls, two pavilions, and one courtyard", and the rebuilt Baolian Temple shows the grandeur of the Tang Dynasty!

This is the most central scenic spot of Baolian Temple! Inside the pavilion is the true body of Maitreya Bodhisattva, the Heavenly Crown Maitreya Buddha, known as the future Buddha. Many people come here to pray for a bright future. This is also the best place to take photos!
