Xuzhou's Zen Hotel! Oriental Aesthetic Hotel Next to a Thousand-Year-Old Temple

Yundongjing Hotel is located in Xuzhou's Yunlong District, near the east gate of Yunlong Mountain. It is adjacent to Xinghua Temple, a thousand-year-old temple, and Xuzhou Museum, and is only a stone's throw away from cultural landmarks such as Huilongwo and Pengzu Garden. Although located in the city center, the hotel is a quiet retreat, with views of the lush Yunlong Mountain and the sparkling Yunlong Lake, perfectly blending urban culture with natural scenery.
Design
The hotel is built in a square shape using mortise and tenon joints, with a wooden roof and stone walls, showcasing the beauty of Chinese architecture. It features a cultural exhibition area, courtyard water features, a popular lobby bar, a Zen tea room, and a sound therapy room. The lobby is decorated in natural wood tones, with light and water features, Zen screens, and bamboo and linen elements, creating a classical garden-like atmosphere. The guest room area is connected by a corridor and stone bridge, with a wooden roof and courtyard landscaping adding to the poetic atmosphere.
Rooms
With only 44 guest rooms, Yundongjing Hotel embodies the concept of "less is more." Each room has a private courtyard, decorated in natural wood tones, with bamboo screens, linen curtains, and lotus ornaments, creating a peaceful atmosphere. The details are exquisite: Dyson hairdryers, Acqua di Parma toiletries, capsule coffee machines, custom tea sets, and high mountain tea, with a minibar stocked with sugar-free drinks, offering restrained luxury.
Dining
From "morning tea" to awaken the taste buds to "good night tea" to soothe the mind, every meal is a dialogue with nature. Breakfast is served as a seasonal set meal, following the 24 solar terms, light yet exquisite. The main dishes are fusion and artistic dishes, with salt to enhance the flavor and soup to nourish the body. The wild mushroom soup is particularly delicious. In the afternoon, try the Chinese-style afternoon tea, with lion-shaped pastries and lotus flower tea, as beautiful as works of art, accompanied by a guqin performance, as if time has stopped.
Facilities
A deep experience of healing the five senses! Mindfulness courses: morning breathing meditation, sound bowl therapy, Zen tea, and forest yoga, led by professional instructors, to purify the mind. Cultural experiences: hand washing and calligraphy, Han painting, and tea ceremony, to experience the charm of traditional culture. Butler service: from good night tea to local travel tips (such as night tours of Yundongji and walks in Pengzu Garden), with attention to detail.
