Yamadera, a representative tourist spot in Yamagata

If you go all the way east along the temple street in front of Yamadera,
you will reach Senjuin Kannon, the second temple of the Mogami Thirty-three Kannon.

When you climb the stairs, you will see an amazing sight 😱
Go through the torii gate and you will see the train tracks!!
Cross the tracks to head to the main hall.

I was lucky enough to encounter a train 🚃

I was able to take a shot of the torii gate ⛩🚃💨💨.

It is said that if you hug this torii gate and chant "lucky" 10 times, the right one will bring you love, and the left one will bring you financial luck. However, don't be greedy and hug both! Just stick to one or the other. That's what it said.
