Mount Zao, Yamagata, Japan

Mt. Zao is the ultimate place, I tell you. It's incredibly beautiful. It has both onsen and mountains. There's a bus and a ropeway that take you to the summit. But we were lucky enough to visit on a day when it was closed. So, we had to walk. What are we waiting for? We climbed all the way to the top. It involved climbing and trekking through the forest, but it was so much fun. The climb requires skill and familiarity from the guide.
