The Nanniwan Production Memorial Hall is located within the Nanniwan scenic area and was established in 1978.
The museum systematically displays the large-scale production process from 1941-1944, when the 359th Brigade of the 120th Division of the Eighth Route Army, led by Wang Zhen, reclaimed Nanniwan! With only a hoe and a gun, they transformed a once desolate and weed-infested 'rotten mud bay' into a 'good Jiangnan of Shaanxi' with green rice fields and cave dwellings dotting the hillside!
The arduous production process is vividly recreated through relief sculptures and clay figurines. The harvested rice and pumpkins🎃, the spun coarse cloth and yarn🧶, fully reflect the spirit of Nanniwan, which is characterized by 'self-reliance and hard struggle💪'!
The post-reclamation Nanniwan is perfectly interpreted in 3D animation, presenting a beautiful scene 'where crops are everywhere and cattle and sheep cover the land'!
