
Shenyang World Expo Park, located in Dongling District, Shenyang City, Liaoning Province, also known as Shenyang Botanical Garden and Shenyang World Horticultural Expo Park, is a multifunctional comprehensive tourist attraction integrating green ecological viewing, fine garden art, cultural landscape architecture, scientific research and popular science education, and entertainment and leisure activities.
Construction began in February 1959 and it was officially opened to the public in 1993. It covers an area of 211 hectares.
With the Lily Tower, Phoenix Square and Rose Garden as its iconic theme buildings, it brings together garden and architectural masterpieces from five continents of the world and key cities in China. There are a total of 100 exhibition gardens distributed in the north and south areas.
Shenyang Botanical Garden was the venue for the 2006 Shenyang World Horticultural Exposition. It is known as the "Expo Garden in the Forest" and has been awarded the honorary titles of "Top 50 Scenic Spots in Liaoning Province", "Top 15 Tourist Attractions in Shenyang" and "Top 10 Science Education Bases in Shenyang". In 2004, it was awarded the title of the first national 5A tourist attraction.

Shenyang World Expo Park was developed as the site for the 2006 China Shenyang World Expo, showcasing international architecture, technology, and culture. Today, it serves as a major recreational and cultural park in Shenyang.
Located in Shenbei New District, Shenyang. Accessible by taxi or rideshare from central Shenyang. Public buses reach nearby stops, followed by a short walk into the park.
Open daily from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Spring and autumn are the best times for comfortable weather and to enjoy gardens and seasonal flowers.
Entrance fee is usually around ¥50–¥80 per person. Tickets can be purchased at the entrance or online via official platforms.
