You can get to 'Yanagawa', a suburb famous for boat rides, in about an hour by subway from Fukuoka🫧

If you take the Nishitetsu train from Fukuoka Tenjin Station and get off at Nishitetsu Yanagawa, there is a free shuttle bus to the place where you can enjoy boat rides, so it's very easy to get there👍

Some people might be worried about boat rides in the middle of summer.

On the day I visited, I was a little out of it because of the sweltering heat and occasional showers, but I enjoyed it with the thought that I would never have another experience like this again!

🎆Small tips🎆
✓Sit in the front or back of the boat!
: That way, when you take pictures, the person next to you won't get in the way, so they'll look pretty, and you won't get in the way of the scenery.

✓If the sunlight is too strong, you can rent a traditional Japanese hat for 100 yen!
: You can ask the guide before you get on the boat.
I was so busy that I didn't rent one, but I slightly regretted it because the sunlight was too strong.

✓Strawberry ice cream 350 yen recommendation
: There is a chance to buy strawberry ice cream on the boat in the middle! I thought I absolutely had to eat it, so I ate it, and it was so delicious that I recommend it.

Yanagawa boat ride can be an endlessly boring time depending on the person, or it can be more enjoyable than you think. It's an experience that will definitely be divided into likes and dislikes, but I personally liked it.

The winding waterway offers different scenery at every stop, so for me who loves nature, it was a very happy time!

The scenery changes depending on the season, so if you are planning to visit Fukuoka, I recommend Yanagawa as a nearby trip💕
