Rafting on the Yanagawa River

The river in Yanagawa Castle is not natural, it is an artificial river. The history can be traced back to about 410 years ago, when the river channel was dug to surround the city wall to protect the construction of "Yanagawa Castle".
There is a river, of course, there is a boat to sit, the boat that travels the Yanagawa River Road is called "joining the boat", characterized by no reservation required, every half an hour departure, one man band according to the boat. After sitting for about an hour, the boatman will sing mountain songs to stir up the atmosphere. There are some like the cruise ships in Venice and Cambridge.
Then go to Yanagawa's specialty ~ eel rice. The century-old restaurant Wakamatsuya was opened during the Ansei period (1854-1859). It uses the Yanagawa steamer eel rice cooking method. The rice is warm and not dry, and the Japanese rice is delicious. Exclusive sauce seasoning the eel, not overly sweet, very fragrant.
