Slow life in Yanagawa and old town charm in Dazaifu

Get an early start from Nishitetsu Tenjin station with an express train to Yanagawa. You will enjoy an hour long leisurely punt down the river, with commentary of the sights and some serenading. It is fun going under the bridges along the way. You can opt to enjoy the famous unagi dish for lunch before heading to Dazaifu.

Enjoy the old town charm of Dazaifu and local snacks. Catch a shuttle bus to Kamado Shrine for a stunning sunset view. It is a renowned spot for autumn leaves when in season.
