Shwedagon Pagoda is a large pagoda located in the heart of Yangon. It is very beautiful during the day, but even more beautiful at night. When entering the temple, you must dress neatly and do not wear shorts. You are also not allowed to wear shoes. You must walk barefoot. Around the pagoda, there is a Buddha image for each day of the week. Each day has a statue as a symbol for pouring water. First, pay respect to the Buddha. You can bring flowers to worship the Buddha and pray before pouring water on the marble Buddha image and the deities standing behind the marble Buddha. Then pour water on the animal of your day of birth.
We went at 4 pm to see the beauty before the sun sets and after the sun sets. It was also not hot when walking around the pagoda. The later it got, the more Burmese people there were. Some came to meditate and some came to pay homage according to their faith. My mother loved it and was very impressed. Tired physically but very happy💓
