Jinluo Mountain, also known as Taiyi Mountain, is located in Taining and Jianning Counties in Fujian Province. Standing at 1,858 meters above sea level, it ranks second only to Taiwan's Yushan Mountain and the main peaks of Wuyi Mountain, Huanggang Mountain (2,158 meters) and Xianglu Mountain (1,930 meters), in southeastern my country. It is known as the "most beautiful peak in the southeast." It earned this name because King Wuzhu of Minyue lost a golden cymbal while hunting there. Jinluo Mountain stretches over 300 miles and boasts 84 steep peaks. Its main peak, Baishiding, divides the mountain into two distinct slopes: the eastern slope, which is dominated by cliffs, and the western slope, which is home to numerous peaks and ridges. Known as the "First Peak of Fujian," it stands at 1,858 meters above sea level. The scenic area boasts the Jinluo Mountain Passenger Cableway, Fujian Province's highest and longest (2.1 kilometers), the highest time tunnel, Fujian Province's most distinctive plank road, the only alpine train in China (excluding Taiwan's Alishan), and Fujian Province's only alpine outdoor ski resort. Climbing up to the main peak, you can overlook Jianning, Taining, Ninghua, Mingxi in northwest Fujian, and you can also see Jinhu, the largest artificial lake in Fujian.
Jinluo Mountain is renowned for its unique beauty, unique charm, and secluded scenery. Watching the sunrise from the summit of Baishishan Mountain is a truly remarkable spectacle. As the sky gradually breaks in the east, a crimson sun bursts forth, its hues changing from peach and orange to fiery crimson in an instant. Leaping above the horizon, radiating a thousand rays of light, the entire earth is bathed in a golden aura, a magnificent spectacle that is truly captivating. Observing the magnificent sea of clouds, thousands of hectares of cloud billows surge beneath your feet, resembling galloping horses, playful dragons, and a shroud of green veil, its ever-changing beauty imbued with the feeling of being transported to a fairyland.
The most secluded areas are Shiyan Rock, Xianren Pool, and Baiyun Peak at the southern end of Jinluo Mountain. Shiyan Rock is rugged and steep, with steep cliffs and open caves. The cave walls preserve cliff carvings from the Qianlong period of the Qing Dynasty. Xianren Pool, a naturally formed oval, flat-bottomed stone pool atop the mountain, brims with luminous water year-round. Baiyun Peak is even more breathtaking, with towering peaks and cliffs, each with its own unique shape and form. These three scenic spots form a magnificent spectacle of mountains, water, rocks, and caves, attracting a constant stream of visitors seeking these hidden gems.
