Yangshuo

Yangshuo is situated around 2 hours away from Guilin which has an airport. To get to Yangshuo, you can either get a taxi or a river cruise (which is lovely when the weather is nice). Yangshuo has a national park with lots of lovely views and wonderful B&Bs at very affordable prices. Outside of the National park, there is a cultural square that has bars, restaurants and shops which can get very busy.
