Breathtaking Li River (漓江) scenery

Taking a cruise along the Li River is a must do to view the unique karst scenery in Guangxi. On rainy days, it feels like a Chinese ink brush painting come to life with the mist surrounding the limestone hills among the river. There's also a famous spot along the cruise where you'll get to see the scenery that's on the 20 yuan note. There's also some light snacks you can try on the cruise such as deep fried river fish and shrimp.

After arriving in Yangshuo, make sure to also go to see the Impressions of Liu San Jie show. The performance is performed on the waters of the Li River and is breathtaking to see, with the large number of performers and light effects with the natural surroundings.
