Sunset views on Lao Zhai Mountain | Xinping

Take a short 20 to 30min hike up this mountain to see the most beautiful sunset in the Yangshuo and Guilin areas.
Be warned it does get packed up there so go early to get a good view.

Located in Xingping Old Town, about 45min drive form Yangshuo.

The mountain is a very steep climb and can get slippery when it rains so be prepared and wear the correct shoes.

The best time to climb is for sunrise or sunset as that’s when you’ll see the true beauty of the nature below.

I would suggest you spend the night in Xinping - there is so much to do here too and if you stay at one of the hostels, the front desk is usually very helpful and puts you together with other locals who are adventure seekers. #passionpassport #gooutside #naturalwonders

There is no admission fee to climb the mountain so everyone can go!
