I went on a Yangyang drive trip!!!
1. Hyuhyuam
Address: 3280-12 Donghae-daero, Hyeonnam-myeon, Yangyang-gun, Gangwon-do
Description: A hermitage on a coastal cliff facing the East Sea. The 'Buddha Rock' that seems to float on the sea is impressive, and it is a good place for meditation or a walk in a quiet atmosphere. It is quiet and secluded, so I recommend it as a morning course.
2. Hajodae Observatory
Address: 61 Hajodae Coastal Road, Hyeonbuk-myeon, Yangyang-gun, Gangwon-do
Description: An observatory installed on a rock cliff 50m above sea level. You can enjoy the spectacular view of the blue sea of the East Sea and the rocky cliffs. It is a historic site with legends of Joseon Dynasty generals Yi Ji-ham and Yi Sun-sin.
3. Cafe Log
Address: 84 Hajodaehaean-gil, Hyeonbuk-myeon, Yangyang-gun, Gangwon-do
Description: A cafe with a sea view located near the Hajodae Observatory. You can enjoy coffee and dessert while taking in the wide open East Sea, making it a great place to relax after a drive. Rooftop seating is also popular.
