🧘♀️ Hyuhyuam – A healing temple with the sea
Hyuhyuam is a hermitage located on the beach in Hyeonnam-myeon, Yangyang-gun, Gangwon-do, and contains the meaning of ‘letting go of the worries of everyday life and resting and resting again.’ It was founded in 1997 by Monk Hongbeop, and in 1999, it became famous as a place of prayer when a rock in the shape of Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva lying down was discovered on the beach.

🌊 Beautiful scenery in harmony with nature
The biggest attraction of Hyuhyuam is its beautiful scenery in harmony with the sea.
