Sanwan Park in early winter.

Sanwan Park is adjacent to the China Grand Canal Museum. After exiting the south gate of the museum, you will reach the north of Sanwan Park. The most conspicuous thing on the north side of the park is the red silhouette bridge, which is one of the park's landmarks. The bridge spans the ancient canal with a total length of 168 meters. Its unique shape highlights Yangzhou paper-cutting craftsmanship. From a distance, it looks like a paper-cut latte art work, exquisite and pleasing to the eye.

Today, we enter the park from the north and walk along the Silhouette Bridge. There was melodious saxophone music coming from a distance, which must have been played in the park. This music suddenly turns gentle and low, sometimes high and exciting, and it stirs people's hearts.

The trail near the water is wide and flat, with yellow and green grass intertwined, red maple and ginkgo dotted among the green trees, and reeds swaying by the water, which is refreshing.

Further on, we were surprised to find that the park’s beautiful melody came from a saxophone enthusiast. Dressed in black, holding a saxophone, he was immersed in his own musical world. In order not to disturb his performance, we stood at a distance and enjoyed it. At this moment, musicians, canals, green trees, the silhouette bridge in the distance, and the museum tower are all in front of you. The light of the lake pleases the birds, the music empties the heart, and the years are peaceful!

There is also a Lingbo Bridge on the south side of the park, with a total length of 223 meters and a unique shape, like water waves, showing the style of the ancient canal in Yangzhou. The top of the bridge has two arcs, one small and one large, from east to west, which look like rolling waves from a distance. In the afterglow of the setting sun, the lights are dim, and the bridge body and the reflection in the water form a figure "8", lying on the ancient canal, it is beautiful!

There are also Kowloon Bridge and Jinfeng Bridge in the park. They echo the Silhouette Bridge and Lingbo Bridge, showing the unique charm of Sanwan Park!

In early winter, the best time to visit Sanwan Park is at dusk. You can enjoy the red clouds in the sky without looking at the lotus flowers or listening to the croaking frogs, and it is quite pleasant to climb the bridge and watch the water.
