In Yangzhou! What's it like staying by the Grand Canal on Dongguan Street

Struck gold during this Yangzhou trip! The Mercure Yangzhou Dongguan Street Hotel completely blew me away! From service to details, everything was exceptional and perfectly aligned with my aesthetic—I must insist on recommending it to you all!!

🌟Prime Location
Right next to Dongguan Street! Just a 50-meter 🚶 walk away, adjacent to the 📍 Marco Polo Memorial Hall. 📍 Pishi Street is right beside Dongguan Street. Across from the hotel is the 📍 Grand Canal's "Dongguan Ancient Ferry." After an evening stroll through Dongguan Street, returning to the hotel and sitting by the canal, feeling Yangzhou's evening breeze, is pure bliss~
Within walking distance to 📍 Ge Garden, and 📍 He Garden isn't far either. A 🚕 taxi or 🛵 e-bike ride of just over 10 minutes will get you to 📍 Slender West Lake.

🔍Attention to Detail
The rooms are incredibly stylish, with bedding so soft it feels like sleeping on a ☁️ cloud. There's also a super thoughtful welcome fruit platter, elevating the experience to the max~ The room's balcony overlooks the Grand Canal—sipping a little 🍺 beer while enjoying the evening breeze is truly delightful~ The soundproofing is excellent, ensuring zero noise disturbance.
Rooms come equipped with a mini-fridge, sterilizer (cups and such are stored here, so hygienic 😌), and more.

💁 Facilities & Service
The public areas are meticulously designed! The hotel lobby is full of character! Each floor has 🆓 complimentary bottled water, a 24-hour gym, and a self-service laundry room (must give props ❤️—when the queue was too long, the staff kindly helped wash and dry my clothes, even delivering them to my room if it wasn't too late!). The 🍴 restaurant's food is also quite delicious~
After meals, relaxing in the backyard garden with a book or show is pure freedom.
From the security guards to the front desk, everyone is incredibly warm! They proactively help with luggage and even recommend local eats and nearby sightseeing routes~
