Dapeng Bay Scenic Area, located on the southwest coast of Taiwan, is Taiwan's largest inland bay. It is located at the junction of Donggang Township and Linbian Township in Pingtung County, close to Provincial Highway 17 , and is an inland lagoon.

From a bird's eye view, the bay resembles a sac, earning the name "Single-Balloon Lagoon" (Single-Balloon Lagoon). Dapeng Bay marks the southern boundary of Taiwan's mangrove forests. Currently, three areas with distinct mangrove belts are visible: the Dapeng Bay waterway mangroves, the sea sedges on the Jialian Road bank, and the Donggang Township waterway mangroves.

Dapeng Bay is Taiwan's largest inland bay, boasting a rich array of flora and fauna. The area boasts unique mangroves, including the sea ash, and coastal plants such as saddle vine, agarwood, and bitterwood.
