Got tired of staying at home, the daily air-conditioned room felt dull and boring, so before the kids start kindergarten, we planned a little trip. While researching, I found a family-friendly resort hotel that offers a one-stop vacation experience with kids. Ready to go anytime, just 2 hours from Suzhou.
Environment:
The hotel environment is very cozy, the natural wood tones are very pleasing to the eye, giving a warm, homey feeling~ They prepared drinks for us in the fridge, and even used DS brand hairdryers. The family rooms have both large and small beds, very convenient. The best part is the hotel has private hot springs, so after days of taking care of the kids, we finally got to relax~
Breakfast:
It’s the first time I’ve had such a sumptuous breakfast at a hotel, with a delicate nine-compartment tray. I had heard about Yangzhou’s morning tea for a long time, and here they have Yangzhou’s specialty dried tofu strips, with two main options: wonton or noodles.
Fun:
The hotel also offers a one-stop Phoenix Island scenic area to take the kids. Our first stop was the Petting Zoo, which has many small animals: horses, deer, sheep, capybaras, and other cute creatures. We were so busy playing we forgot to take photos. There’s also a Bird Park, museum, water park, and more. Our little one was most interested in the pets and birds (the Bird Park even has very friendly little rabbits~).
Transportation:
We came by high-speed train, and the hotel kindly helped us call a car for the return trip. Overall, a great experience~
