The name Wang Hongchang is said to have been given to the building in the photo because it became famous among Chinese Wang Hongs for its pretty appearance with its lights on at night and its unique appearance with Korean and Chinese characters written side by side! (I also learned this from talking to locals!)
As a Korean who can speak Chinese, I was impressed by the way it was written, and when I looked closely at each sign, I realized how the people here translate and read the unfamiliar expressions. ㅎㅎ
Across from Wang Hong Chang is the main gate of Yanbian University, and at night, the lights are turned on and it's pretty! Everyone took a lot of pictures here too~
There are many Wang Hongs on the road between the two places, and there were also many people who set up cameras and lighting to take professional pictures, and there were quite a few people who walked around with foxes and asked people to pay to take pictures...ㅎ
Since these people occupied the place, we had to fight through the crowd to take pictures with our group and get out! 🥹
If you go a little further toward Yanbian University, there's also a night market! We tried all the delicious things here! 🙌🏻🙌🏻 I recommend the night market too😎
