I'll stay at this hotel whenever I come to Yantai. It's nice and affordable.

Yantai Golden Beach Indigo||This is the 10th Indigo hotel I've stayed at.

Several Indigo hotels that have opened in recent years are actually quite similar. But this one in Yantai reminds me of the old Indigo hotels. The hotel design and city IP are well integrated. It's one of my favorite Indigo hotels.

The hotel is located on the Golden Beach in the development zone, but there is a road between the hotel and the beach. The windows are not very soundproof.

I used points to book the room. I was upgraded from a basic room to a deluxe room on a high floor. I asked the hotel to reserve a corner room for me. The room is about 50 square meters. The bed faces the window, but the rooms facing the sea view don't have a balcony, which is a bit of a shame.

The main colors of the room are whale blue and gradient orange, which should reflect the elements of the sea and sunlight. From the public area to the room, the hotel uses many elements such as whales, waves, stripes, etc. (and snowflakes), which are very characteristic of the seaside. The lobby is a bit like the Poseidon underwater world of Wanda Vista Qingdao, full of ocean flavor.

The sofa-table-chair combination in the room is quite interesting. The Westin Yantai also has a "tree stump table" in the room. The mini fridge has local brand Yizhibi juice. The walk-in closet has a steamer, which is a plus. The umbrella design is also very nice.

The toilet is electric, but only the lid is electric, not the flush, so I always forget to flush.

The staff called me a day in advance to inform me that my room had been upgraded. They also informed me in advance that the hotel has no lounge and that the executive benefits are replaced by a CNY 90 voucher. The food in the all-day dining restaurant is quite rich and reasonably priced. I ordered a portion of mackerel dumplings, which were large and filling, and tasted delicious. The dumpling skin is made with butterfly pea flower juice.

After lunch, I crossed the road to take a walk on the Golden Beach. The temperature was quite high this weekend. It was not cold at all by the sea, and the sand on the Golden Beach is very fine. Although the tropical sea is beautiful, as a native of a northern coastal city, I still prefer the northern sea in autumn and winter. I really recommend Yantai in the off-season.
