✨Hey guys, want to go on a budget trip to Yantai from July to September? Here's a 4-day Yantai travel guide for you!

📍Day 1:
🎈Activities:

• First stop is Yantai Mountain, the iconic scenic spot of Yantai. The mountain features clusters of modern foreign consulate buildings full of exotic charm. Stroll along winding mountain paths to enjoy the beautiful scenery of red-tiled roofs, green trees, blue sea and sky. You can also climb the lighthouse for a panoramic view of Yantai city and the sea. The ticket price is very affordable.

• After descending from Yantai Mountain, head to Binhaiguangchang (Seaside Square). Built along the coast, the square has many unique cultural corridors and offers stunning seaside views. Taking an evening stroll here with the sea breeze is extremely relaxing.

🍜Food:

• There are many snack stalls near Yantai Mountain where you can try Yantai stewed rice cakes (Yantai Menzi) - chewy rice cakes with sesame sauce and garlic paste taste amazing.

• Around the Seaside Square, there are small seafood restaurants where you can order spicy stir-fried clams - plump and delicious at affordable prices.

Choose budget hotels near Nandajie (South Street) for convenient transportation and plenty of nearby food options.

📍Day 2:
🎈Activities:

• Yangma Island is a must-visit spot. You can rent an electric bike to circle the island, stopping anytime to enjoy the views. Attractions include Tianma Square and Houhai Rocky Beach. At Houhai, you can see crystal-clear water with underwater rocks and small fish clearly visible, like entering a fairytale underwater world - and island access is free!

• Go beachcombing at Zhang Island by checking tide schedules in advance. Dig for clams and catch small crabs on the beach to experience the joy of harvest. Beachcombing tools can be rented or purchased locally.

🍜Food:

• Yangma Island's seafood noodle restaurants are famous - try a bowl of seafood noodles with chewy texture and generous seafood portions.

• After beachcombing, you can have your harvested seafood cooked at nearby farmhouse restaurants for a small processing fee to enjoy the freshest flavors.

Stay at homestays near Yangma Island to enjoy the island's night views.

📍Day 3:
🎈Activities:

• Golden Beach Seaside Park features fine, soft sand and is one of Yantai's most beautiful beaches. Sunbathe, play in the waves, or join beach volleyball. From July to September, the water temperature is perfect for swimming, and the park is free.

• Visit Changyu Wine Culture Museum to learn about wine-making history and culture. The museum has many interesting interactive experiences with good value tickets.

• There are many barbecue stalls near Golden Beach - try grilled squid and chicken wings to experience Yantai's lively food scene.

• Taste Changyu wines - you can buy special wines at the museum and enjoy a leisurely drink.

📍Day 4:
🎈Activities:

• Penglai Pavilion is Yantai's cultural landmark. Explore ancient architecture and witness the spectacular boundary between the Yellow and Bohai Seas. Though tickets are slightly expensive, it's worth it.

• Sanshan Mountain Scenic Area near Penglai Pavilion features numerous antique-style buildings and rare garden landscapes, like entering a fairyland. You can stroll slowly and take vintage-style photos.

🍜Food:

• In Penglai city, try Penglai thin noodles - hair-thin noodles in delicious broth at super cheap prices.

• Buy Penglai specialty seafood like roasted fish fillets and dried shrimp as souvenirs.
