Selime Monastery, an 8th-9th century rock monastery towering over a hill at the end of the Ihlara Valley in Cappadocia ‼️

Traces of the lives of 8th century monks remain, so you can see traces of the chapel, kitchen, hall, and tunnel used by 8th century monks, and it is a place where you can indirectly feel the long history through the faint murals and letters carved on the walls 💗

They wanted to use it as a background for Star Wars, but they couldn't because of taxes.. They say they were inspired and filmed it somewhere else! There is also a Star Wars cafe nearby, so if you have time, I recommend stopping by 💗
