A place of lifelong obsession, no dream reaches Huizhou.
1️⃣Transportation
Self-driving: For those in the nearby areas of Jiangsu, Zhejiang, and Shanghai, self-driving is an option. It is very convenient to go to Hongcun and the surrounding areas; High-speed rail: There is a high-speed rail station near Hongcun (Yixian Station), and there are direct buses to the scenic spots after getting off, which is also very convenient.
2️⃣Around Huangshan
Recommended places to visit
⚠️Huangshan Scenic Area: Huangshan is one of the Five Great Mountains of China, and it is worth climbing. If you want to climb Huangshan, remember to make a reservation in advance.
⚠️Xidi: It features very distinctive Huizhou-style architecture, an ancient village gathering place with particularly good scenery. There are also many photo spots. Xidi is very close to Hongcun, so you can visit Xidi first and then go to Hongcun.
⚠️Hongcun Scenic Area: It also has very characteristic Huizhou-style architecture, various specialty shops, and many old sites. The scenery is particularly good, very suitable for relaxing and strolling, and it is also very photogenic.
Xidi and Hongcun attract many art students to sketch, and you can also buy their paintings, which are very beautiful and can be kept as souvenirs.
⚠️Wuyuan: Wuyuan in Jiangxi is also particularly worth visiting. It has been rated as the most beautiful ancient village by National Geographic. Take the high-speed rail to Wuyuan Station, and then you can choose to take a bus or taxi to your destination. The local folk culture is particularly rich, and the mountain and water scenery is also very beautiful. The famous map of China on the wall is in Wuyuan.
⚠️Jingdezhen: Jingdezhen in Jiangxi can be reached from the high-speed rail stations of the previous locations to Jingdezhen North Station. Then you can take a taxi to various places (for my specific one-day travel notes, please see my homepage~).
These spots are all particularly worth visiting. Take advantage of the summer vacation, which is the best time for a cool and enjoyable trip, and go into the mountains to experience nature!
