Discover the tranquil charm of Xidi Village

Located at the foot of Huangshan Mountain in Anhui Province, Xidi Village is a UNESCO World Heritage site. While Hongcun Village is more popular and bustling with tourists, Xidi offers a quieter and less crowded atmosphere. During my visit, the rain had just stopped, and although the sky was cloudy, patches of blue sky peeked through.

The village showcases stunning rural landscapes and traditional architecture. I even spotted someone fishing in a small stream. Within the village, there are stylish cafes and drink stands where you can take a relaxing break during your stroll.

When I visited, there were only a few tourists, allowing me to explore the village peacefully. Buses run from Hongcun to Xidi, and the journey takes about 30 minutes. If you have time, I highly recommend extending your trip to include this charming destination.
