Friends, I recently discovered a super cool place—Er Ma Lu✨. This old street is full of history, retro and artistic, every photo is a masterpiece!
🏮 Atmosphere:
Er Ma Lu retains many old buildings, a collision of European and Chinese styles. The carved doors and windows, and mottled walls, seem to tell stories of the past. In the evening, the setting sun casts a warm yellow glow on the street, creating a wonderful atmosphere. Walking here, time seems to slow down.
🍽 Food:
There are so many delicious small restaurants hidden here! There's a private kitchen with melt-in-your-mouth signature braised pork that's sweet but not greasy. The coffee shop on the corner has rich hand-brewed coffee, perfect with a slice of Basque cheesecake. There are also retro snack stalls selling stinky tofu and sugar-oiled baba, full of childhood flavors.
🎨 Artistic Corners:
Several art studios are hidden here, with exhibitions that are updated regularly, niche and interesting. There are also many graffiti walls in the streets and alleys, adding a lot of vibrancy to the old street with their colorful designs.
🛏 Accommodation Recommendation: Great Wall Holiday Hotel
If you're tired from exploring, check in to the Great Wall Holiday Hotel, which offers excellent value for money. The rooms are clean and tidy, with soft and comfortable bedding for a good night's sleep. The hotel is ideally located for easy access to nearby restaurants and attractions. The front desk staff are warm and welcoming, and they also provide helpful travel advice, making your trip hassle-free.
Come to Er Ma Lu and experience this unique retro romance!
